Cable TV channel lineup.

I am a retired GOLD CUSTOMER on  a fixed income.  I currently subscribed to the Choice Package.  With this package I am required to have 54 music channels that I do not and will not use.  I called Xfinity Customer Service and requested info on adding one channel (ESPN).  I was advised that I would have to upgrade my package or add the Sports Package to the tune of a $40-$60 increase in my monthly bill.  I only wanted a single channel.  It is apparent that profit supercedes customer service/satisfaction.

user_44d156 Our agreements with networks allow us to build packages that allow customers to save money as much as possible. Due to the agreements, we aren't able to set up any one specific channel at a time unfortunately. We are happy to help add the service, and see if there is any way to make it a little less, but we would need to add the appropriate package to get it on your account.
