Cable modem upstream problem

I installed a new cable modem today. I have been getting very slow upload speeds like 6 mb slow, I pay for 150 upload. I saw on someone else’s post that customer service had to be notified that I was switching modems in order to get proper service. I have my own netgear cm2000 modem if that’s important.

EDIT:

I checked in the router settings, there are no locked upstream channels. But downstream seems to have many locked and is as fast as expected

Upstream OFDMA Channels
Channel Lock Status Modulation / Profile ID Channel ID Frequency Power
1 Not Locked 0 0 0 Hz 0 dBmV
2 Not Locked 0 0 0 Hz 0 dBmV

Hello @user_03ieje

Thank you for letting us know your current situation and equipment. We want to make sure you get the experience you are paying for. The Netgear CM2000 is a compatible Comcast device, but it is not on the Next Generation Speed Tier List https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices/#unauth for the higher upload speeds. You may want to take a look at a CM2500 or CM3000.
