Hello @user_4ac305. I understand that ATT cut your cable while burying your neighbors cable line. To confirm, do you have Xfinity services and if so, are they up and running?

Great question! Please follow these steps to send a private message

 

To send a private message:

Sign in to the community.
Click the message count or envelope icon to go to your Private Messages Inbox.
Click the New Message icon.
Enter the recipient's name in the Send to field.
Type the reply in the Message box
Click Enter to send your message.
You can see your back and forth messages with any user by clicking the messages.

My apologies. It has been renamed as a Direct Message, and there should be a chat bubble icon in the upper right of the webpage. I hope these directions can be a bit more clear for you.

 

To send a Direct Message:

 

Ensure you are logged in

  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
    • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
    • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.

is 9am and all is well here with comcast.....the tech was just here and replaced the cut cable....thanks ATT   thanks to all who replied and offered advice......it is greatly apprecicated
