Cable card tivo

Just powered on a tivo with cable card after not being on since 2024. None of the channels are authorized. Do I need to re pair the cable card? My other tivo is ok.

@user_87u1ge Thanks for adding a post to the community. Many channels have been slowly updated to internet channels, but you should be able to view the same ones you see on the other box. Try pairing the card again with the steps here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/pair-activate-cablecard. If there are any error messages, or all the steps were tried a couple times without authorizing the channels, you'll need the direct cable card team. Call 877-405-2298 and request CableCARD Repair, if the pairing continues to fail.

Comcast/Xfinity sends out authorization renewals to CableCard devices every few weeks. If the CableCard device is inactive for a month or so it wont receive the renewal, authorization will expire, and the card will need to be paired by them again, if you can find someone who knows how to do that.
