Cable Card Help
I have a CableCard that I have been using successfully with Comcast for more than a decade (probably 2 decades!). My TiVo machine just required a replacement hard drive and, as a result, I need to re-pair Comcast to the card in order to get channels. I understand that these devices are no longer supported and we can't get new cards. I have an Xfinity box and full subscription to services so this is not cutting into Xfinity's business in any way. But I am trying my best to simply get my CableCard, which was fully functional until about a week ago, re-paired. I would appreciate any assistance in making this happen. Thank you!

Hello there, @jlc8158! Thank you for commenting on another post with your similar concerns. We've converted that into its own post to ensure we properly address your particular account and questions. We completely understand where you’re coming from; you’ve had a setup that’s worked smoothly for years, and after replacing a hard drive, you just want to get your existing CableCARD re-paired and back up and running. While Comcast/Xfinity no longer issues new CableCARDs, our specialized CableCARD support team should still be able to assist with re-pairing and activation for existing customers who already have an active card in their account. Have you tried calling them yet, at 1-877-405-2298?
