Cable Burial taking 34+ Days

we had a tech come to our house six days ago to diagnose an issue with setting up our modem. It was determined at that appointment that we do not have a cable to run xfinity at our apartment. he said that it would take a few days for them to come run a cable. Later that evening we received a text that it could take around 14 days for this cable to be buried which we found to be a long time but we’re willing to deal with. Six days after the tech came we got a text saying that our cable burial was scheduled for August 22nd, 34 days after the tech initially came. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. If someone cannot come from Xfinity to bury our cable or give us a temp cable sooner than that, we will be canceling our services and switching to a different ISP. both me and my partner rely on Internet for our jobs. We cannot have no Internet for what will be at this point more than 40 days. I am begging that someone helps us with this sooner.

We had a second tech come out and identify that we did in fact have a comcast line running to our house and found the line behind a blank outlet panel. Glad to finally have this issue resolved but wish it was properly diagnosed the first time.
