Buying vs renting
I currently own my own router/modem instead of renting it. I have read that it is possible to buy the actual cable box--is that true?
I also currently rent two smaller boxes for TVs not connected with the main cable box. Is it possible to buy those instead of renting?

Hi there! You are not able to buy cable boxes and use them with our services. If you want an actual box, they must be provided by us, and there is a monthly charge for them. We do however offer our Xfinity Stream App to all our cable customers. This app can be downloaded on many devices, and a lot of customer use this instead of boxes to save cost.
