Bury cable

I got a temporary line drop and was told it would be buried in 14 days. Well over a month later still no communication on when this work will be done. Keep in mind this isn't just a cable in my yard it is going over the side walk with a traffic cone and ramps for "safety". i decided to reach out and talk to someone from another country who was nice. The problem i am having is that this person ASSURED me the line would be buried by the end of the next day. And that he will personally track the process to make sure it is done. Geuss what the line wasn't buried. called that night and they said they don't know why that agent told me that. This company's communication and customers service is ATROCIOUS and there is no excuse for their agents blatantly lying to you. They play the blame game that its not their problem because they hire third party contractors. If i didn't have this bright orange cable laying in my yard i would cancel and never use Xfinity again. Thank you for reaching out to us @user_yna3ht! We sincerely apologize for the confusion, these requests can take up to 14 business days. Weather conditions, such as snow and rain, can impact both the equipment used to bury the cable line and the ground conditions in such a way that we’re unable to dig. Since weather is unpredictable, duration of these delays is also unpredictable.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team would love to take a further look! To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
