Bulk Program Apartment

Hi, my apartment complex is releasing a new bulk program soon with internet and Flex, but I already have an xfinity account with way better internet than they are offering and when I tried to opt out of the program, I was told that no matter what when this program rolls out that Xfinity would be changing my account anyway and charging me extra for the Flex that I do not want. Is this true?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Forums. When it comes to a bulk account, the agreement between the bulk account owner and Xfinity is processed for all apartments within the community. If you have an account it would be closed and put in the property owner's agreement. The level of service depends on the agreement. Some agreements will allow tenants to do upgrades. If the agreement states nonupgradeable then services may not be changed. Pricing depends on the bulk agreement.  Sometimes there's a better price with bulk. I apologize as I am unable to give specifics as many bulk agreements may be different.

@XfinityAshley So do the tenants have a right to view the agreement made by the owner?

The tenants are informed of what services are included and what the prices will be. Specific details regarding the agreement, would be up to the Bulk account owner to share.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
