Billing issues
Well I had the yearly excitement where I got my Comcast bill and SURPRISE!!!! It was double what it usually is. Every time I go through this customer service says "It's printed on your bill", but in order to get the deal you are promised you have to do autopay and paperless billing--so you never get a bill. Then they tell you "you get an email with your bill", and I say, "No, you get an email that your payment is due and how much it is."
Why can't comcast just send me an email or a text the month before telling me when my agreement/promotion/whatever is going to expire? They send me marketing emails and other texts every month. But not this one...nope, you have to look at your bill. We draw the line there...
My second complaint is about the billing itself. They have tried to make it so easy they have make it too consolidated. The price they show on the bill, for your plan, is your plan price minus your autopay and paperless bill discount. So if your plan is $80 and you get autopay/paperless, which is a $10 discount, they will show you $70. That isn't accurate. It should so $80 for the plan, with a $10 discount for paperless/autopay, then any agreement/promotion discounts you are getting then tax and total. The way this is structured causes confusion because it is hard to understand what you are getting billed for and what your credits are.
When I asked the agent how to make these recommendations they said I needed to make an appointment at the store? Say what? You want me to schedule an appointment a couple days out and drive 15 miles to make a complaint? Really? There is no other way to do this?
Can't wait until they finish building fiber in my neighborhood...
