Billing for Home Phone Service

How can I get a tv and internet plan only? I have been paying a charge of $14.99 for home phone service for about a year now. It has now jumped up to $30.00 a month. I have been with Comcast for about 20 years you would think they could be a little more helpful with their long time customers. I have never used the phone service. I do not have it set up or have the modem for the home phone. I'm paying big bucks for a service I have never used and don't need. I have tried to get it cancelled and removed from my bill but all I get is "it's included in your plan" and "Comcast does not have a plan with tv and internet-only". I hope someone will read this and give a longtimer senior citizen some support.
