Billing credits

I was called about the affordable connectivity program January 2024. I signed was TOLD it would apply to future bills. Noticed it was applied to all my bills for the previous year, yet I was not compensated for this, and now my bill that used to be 56$ has jumped too 100$ because you guys upped the prices. I was expecting to pay 35$ a month after enrolling into the program for it all to be wrong. How can you apply credits to a bill that I already paid and not get compensated for it? Very frustrated and after looking online I would have to downsize to 75mps to get credits for future bills when that absolutely won’t work in a 6 person household
