Bill increased from $56 to $95 after promotion ended - looking for a short-term option

Hi,

My Xfinity Internet promotional rate recently ended, and my monthly bill increased from about $56 to $95.

I’m moving back to my home country in about four months, so I only need internet service for the next four months. Because of that, I don’t want to sign a new 12-month contract or pay a high monthly rate.

I tried using the Xfinity Assistant, but I haven’t been able to reach a live agent.

I’d like to know if there are any lower-cost, no-contract promotions available for my account.

If there aren’t any suitable offers, I’m also interested in switching from my current Xfinity Internet plan to NOW Internet for the remaining four months.

Could an Xfinity Support representative please help me review my options?

Thank you.

user_9cerow Hi there! Thank you for reaching out, and I can certainly understand your concern with such a significant increase in your monthly bill, especially since you'll only need service for a few more months before moving. We'd be happy to review your account and see what options may be available. Could you please send our team a Direct Message with your name and service address? Our team can take a further look at this issue.

To send a Direct Message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Messaging chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it
