big increase in bill

My bill increased by a large amount this month and I cannot afford to pay this.  I am retired on a fixed income.   I would like to find out my options of lowering my service to the lowest cost package, even if that means losing channels I watch daily.  I do not want to lose CNN, MSNBC, and FOX though.  Is this possible?

BTW, Comcast arbitrarily removed TCM from my package earlier this year, which I watched daily.  Appeals to customer service were fruitless.
