Being Eligible for Internet Essentials
I don't quite understand the xfinity pricing models for internet only service. I am a low income xfinity customer on snap, energy and house assistance. I work temporary employment with varying income so I keep my expense as low as possible. This year my internet only plan went from $35 to $55 and now $85. Since I am a customer I dont qualify for internet essentials ($35/mo) or new customer plan at $55/mo. I must leave xfinity for 90 days before I can apply for these, was my sales persons correct about this?

@user_ucg3ny That person you spoke with is correct. Both our internet essentials and introductory offers require either 90 days without service or a transfer of service to qualify for those.
But if you are interested in a cheaper alternative we also offer Xfinity NOW service which is a prepaid option. These are lower speeds 100mbp/s and 200mbp/s for $30-$45/mo. So this is something available that existing accounts can take advantage of without having to be without service for 90 days. More information on this option can be found at Xfinity.com/NOW
