Hurricane season is here. How can I get a Battery Backup (UPS) for my Xfinity equipment?

Thank you for meeting us here in our Forums community to prepare for Hurricane season, @user_282t8j. It's sad to hear we have to prepare, but we hope it will be a safe one for all.

For Xfinity Voice service, you can purchase a Battery Backup for your modem, which provides additional hours of service during a power outage, supporting your phone and alarm system for up to 24 hours. The backup battery case is available for new and existing customers, with a one-time charge of $65. Additionally, the xFi Advanced Gateway (XB7 and higher) is required to support the backup power solution. Here's: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/getting-a-new-battery a helpful article.

Xfinity Pro is also a great option to keep your internet connected. Xfinity Pro is an add-on service for Xfinity Internet customers that enhances Wi-Fi connectivity. It includes the Pro Wi-Fi Extender, which offers improved coverage and performance, the ability to Boost a Device for optimal connection, and up to two additional Wi-Fi Extenders at no extra cost for $15 per month. Xfinity Pro also provides unlimited cellular backup during internet outages, ensuring devices remain connected. You can get more information here: https://www.xfinity.com/hub/internet/xfinity-pro.

Let me know if you have any questions. I can assist you here with adding either of these options to your service.
