Bamboozled
I needed to return my security package because it is not compatible with my home. I called customer and was informed to just return the equipment and a credit of $211 would be credited to the acct. I asked if there is anything I should be aware of before going to the store, because I don’t want to be told at the store I have to go thru customer service. I was informed that would not be the case. That was misinformation and I feel that he lied on purpose.
Upon going to the store front I was informed they could only take one of the items and I must take the other two doorbells home. Stating they can’t be returned and I must continue paying for something that’s not compatible with my home. The employee was more concern with getting a bad review vs helping me out.
I called the number that was provided. The employee immediately told me it was the wrong dept and she could not help. Employee was very short, rude, and sounded aggravated from the first moment in the conversation (never properly greeting me). She then told me she would transfer me and hung up on me.
This is not a service that I pay for with a smile. As a new member I’m not feeling too secure in my choice of company.
SN: I even added to my package prior to knowing that I was being bamboozled with a false promise regarding the equipment/credits . I may have to find another provider. This hasn’t been a great experience.
