"Bait and Switch"

Originally chatted with an agent 2 days ago about not being able to connect to their "free" Peacock Premium; being that I'm a diamond member.  He immediately said he could offer me 2000 Mbps and lower my monthly bill if I switched to paperless billing.  Who doesn't want a lower monthly bill?  I agreed thinking he upped my internet speed and bandwidth.  Meanwhile he worked on my Peacock problem.  Every time I tried to activate it, it would tell me I was linked to another account.  I have never subscribed to Peacock.  After an hour, I had to end the chat.  Fast forward to the next day.  I got another agent who informed me that my internet speed was 1000 Mbps.  I told him that is incorrect because another agent upped it to 2000.  He assured me that it was impossible because my area does not offer that.  Deceptive!  After he could not fix my Peacock account problem, he opened a help ticket.  Day 3....got a phone call from another agent who assured me people were working behind the scene to fix the Peacock issue....after an hour and a half, nothing was resolved.  I was even instructed to go create another email account.  As a customer, I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to fix their problem.  I ended the call with no Peacock and broken promises.  Glo Fiber is looking like my final option.  As a Comcast/Xfinity customer for over 30 years, I would expect better....shame on me!
