Bait and switch

My internet promotional rate expired. Communicated with Xfinity assistant on line. Was told another promotion is available with same speeds and service I already had with an Apple Watch SE included for $80/month which was for internet and watch. Watch was sent to me and I activated. Now I’m being charged $10/month for watch on my mobile bill and internet is $105/month. I’ve tried contacting Xfinity, went into a store-no one will help or offer resolution.

Good day user_vwsoga 👋 I definitely understand how upsetting it can be when I'm not getting exactly what was outlined to me, and appreciate you taking the time to let us know what happened, so we can help look into things!

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the full service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to research this further for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

@XfinitySeth I do not see the option to send a direct message. There is no icon in the top right.

So long as you're signed in, there should be a chat message icon in the top right corner of the page next to your notification bell and Xfinity logo. If it's not appearing for you, try following these steps:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
