Bad Communication Skills

I had been without service for over a week at the time. So I scheduled for a technician to come out on a Sunday prior to that Sunday I called customer service Friday just to confirm my appointment. And they did. Fast forward the technician was scheduled for Sunday in between the times of 1pm to 3pm I get a phone call from Xfinity at 1:50pm stating that the technician would be running a little late. Okay fine. At 3pm I write the chat and ask for an eta of the technician I was told I didn’t have an appointment scheduled at all for that day. Well then it was established the technician rescheduled my appointment for the next day from 8am to 10am mind you that time did not work for me being that I work 6am to 2pm. So the person from the chat told me that they were goi no to send a technician out that Sunday from 5pm to 7pm. 6pm rolls around I write the chat again what is the eta of the technician again I was told they see no technician scheduled for me. So then I was told he would definitely be here the next morning in between 8am to 10am well guess what it’s the next morning at 9am I write the chat what is the eta of the technician, guess what ? There is no technician scheduled for today. So now here I am missing two days of work going on 3 because now the technician is scheduled for tomorrow going on 2 weeks of no service but I bill that went up tremendously. But no help or empathy from Xfinity I am really considering going back to AT & T

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_efqcpn please allow us to take a look at available appointments and assist with lowering your billing as well. I want to restore your trust in Comcast service. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
