Availability of reasonable prices

Xfinity apparently will only give you a good price if you have a new account (e.g. the $50 5/yr plan) longstanding customers get nothing. So my question is how long do I have to leave Xfinity for before I can come back and get a good price? a week? a year? I'd prefer to keep Xfinity but if shutting it off next time I'm on a work trip means I can get a competitive rate it's worth jumping through the hoops. Does anyone know how long you have to leave for it to count?

Hello @user_d0cit3 While we certainly understand your frustration not qualifying for the new customer offers, all of our customers have gotten to take advantage of introductory rates, many cases cheaper than the current offerings. But we would be happy to review the account for any savings opportunities available to you.

As for your question regarding eligibility for those promos an account is considered new again after 90 days without service or if you are moving to a new address. Let us know if you'd like us to look over the account.
