Automated Customer service

I've been calling customer service for 2 days and I can't reach an agent. How can you reach a live agent?

I cannot get my Roku device to connect to the internet.  Roku directed me to Xfinity, but NO ONE at Xfinity answers the phone so that I can explain the problem.  You are placed into an automated voice loop that asks a dozen technical questions and no matter what you say or what button you press, you cannot reach a real live person. I tried every variation - billing, sales, service, disconnect my service, internet, etc. Out of sheer frustration I drove to an Xfinity store where they told me that they could not help me reach a live person at customer service.  They did however offer to sell me a device that would allow me to connect my tv to the internet.  SMH

We can help, user_b0ncmp. I'd like to ask a few questions to gain a better understanding and help troubleshooting this issue together. What error message or code are you receiving when trying to connect your Roku device to your home network? Is Roku the only device impacted? Have you confirmed parental controls for that particular device had not been set? We will get to the bottom of this. As a quick reminder if you ever have service issues you can use the Xfinity app to troubleshoot. It works great and is easy to use.
