atrocious online reps

I think I'm going to cancel soon. I'm so disgusted and exhausted from what I've had to deal with for the past few days.

I had the very old 150 mbps @ $71/mo plan. I just randomly checked xfinities website and I learned I could get 500 mbps at $70/mo, as long as I used auto pay. Cool. I went online and consulted with a rep, who was cool. He got me on the 500 mbps plan at $70/mo. I ordered a brand new modem and attempted to install it the next day. What I didn't realize is the modem I ordered isn't compatable with the routers I have, but I didn't know that was the issue at the time. So I opened another chat with a rep.

This rep tried his best to troubleshoot but at the end, he wasn't able to help. No big deal. The thing that really angered and shocked me is that all of the sudden, I see in my email that my plan has been changed from the 500 mbps plan to a 1 gig plan for ~$85 or something. I NEVER authorized this. As soon as I called out the rep who made the change, he left the chat. Wow.

Another rep joins and tries to remedy the situation. He offers me what I thought was the same plan at 500 mbps for $55/mo. But later in the day, I realized this was a 1 year price lock instead of 5. I'd rather take the 5 year price lock at $70. So, I opened ANOTHER ticket. This 3rd rep couldn't care less, he just tried to upsell me on a phone. I politely decline and then all of the sudden, I get another email. I was [Edited: Language] at this point because I thought the same thing was going to happen. Well, this time, he randomly scheduled a rep to come out to my home on a random day/time that I NEVER REQUESTED. Just out of random. I then called him out on that, guess what? He leaves the chat... LOL

Now, as I'm typing this out. I'm with a 4th rep. Who's literally taking his sweet time. I think I've been on here for 30 minutes. He randomly comes back and says "I'm still working on it", and leaves.

I saved all the chat logs and have solid proof of unauthorized plan up-sells, etc. I'm definitely filing every complaint I can think of and reporting comcast/xfinity. As someone said earlier, how the [Edited: Language] are they in business?
