at my wit's end with Xfinity customer service

I've about had it with Xfinity.  The instructions on how to DM Xfinity Support DO NOT WORK.  I am a reasonably intelligent person who can read and understand instructions.  I have been entirely unable, despite being signed in, to successfully follow their instruction on how to DM.  Not that it matters.  Xfinity Support never responded to my message from the past when I did pose a question.  I am a platinum member and should be eligible for Peacock Premium.  It is a known issue apparently that affects some Platinum users.  I have wasted enough time with chat agents.  I can't spend hours and hours trying to get help, with all their empty promises.  I need to speak this out on the phone with someone who is competent.  I am at my wit's end with the customer service support at Xfinity.  I need someone at Xfinity who can help.  Been dealing with this for about 10 days now, to absolutely no help.  This is not good for my retention long term for remaining an Xfinity customer, and I am representative of their customer base.

I am tired of explaining and re-explaining my problem over and over again to chat agents. It is a complete time drain.  Then they finally do understand it, and I get nothing but empty promises. I was promised a ticket with an email to follow. Never came.

Support here lists instructions for sending a DM. They are not even applicable. None of the options are even remotely close to what I find when trying to follow their instructions. Step 1 isn't even anything I come close to seeing and so on down the steps.

You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your offer, which may take a few hours. Ensure you use your primary Xfinity ID and password for the login process.

@XfinityMartyR​ Thank you at least for the response. It seems I am going to have to explain it yet another time. This is the problem. I have been viewing my membership site for about 10 days now. I see all sorts of other benefits that I could potentially redeem as Platinum. Peacock is NOT LISTED, not among them. This is a known problem. There are Reddit posts about it.

user_x9xk0e Thank you for the additional information! Since you're not seeing the Peacock Premium offer listed, it may have already been connected to your account based off of your member status, or even internet speed tier. I would recommend trying the following steps to see if you can get the offer activated. 
 
*Clear your cache, and cookies for your web browser

*Then head to https://customer.xfinity.com/activate-peacock, and log in to your account with the Primary Xfinity ID and password. Any other Xfinity Profile ID will not work.

*After logging in with your Primary Xfinity ID, you will see one of the following experiences:

An Activate Now button at the top of your account if the Peacock Premium offer isn’t activated. Or a message telling you that your Peacock account is already active.

 

*If you see the Activate Now button, follow the prompts, and you'll be redirected to the Peacock website to finish activation.

*If you see invalid username or password, try changing the password for your Peacock account.

*Any Peacock login issues should be directed to Peacock customer support https://www.peacocktv.com/help

 

*If you're seeing a message that your Peacock account is already active.

*Head to peacocktv.com https://www.peacocktv.com/ and log in.

*Your Peacock email and password may not be the same as your Xfinity credentials.

*You may have used a third-party (non-Comcast) email address to sign up for Peacock.

*You may need to try multiple email addresses.

*Once you're in, click Account Settings from the Who’s Watching page. Select Plans & Payment and have check the subscription status under Your Plan. If the plan is billed by Xfinity, they’re all set and will receive the Peacock Premium promotion. If Your Plan doesn’t show Xfinity, try to identify the email associated with their Peacock account.

 

If you're still having an issue with Peacock activation, please let us know where you're getting stuck at, any error codes, or messages.

OK thanks. That was a good suggestion. I tried on a browser that I had never used before and it worked.  I was able to activate the offer finally. Thanks so much!
