Asking for my SSN and DoB to proceed wiyh activation
Hi, the representative i spoke to yesterday was halting a simple device activation and shared a promotional and shared a link that requests SSN and DOB.
Sounds shady. Why would an internet service provider need my personal data?

You can also go to https://www.xfinity.com/planbuilder to create the order which it will walk you through the credit screening process that's needed depending on the type of services you sign up for with Xfinity will warrant what credit screening process is needed.
