I was asking an agent regarding upgrading my phone and was asked to enter my SSN and DOB on an external link: https://iguard-po-1pp.slb.comcast.com:9443/ui?Au9yY4dnAqMxz15vqiRjbe
Is this common practice or should I be concerned with fraud?

Not much of an external link. It uses the Comcast.com domain so it’s using Comcast’s systems.

Hello - this same thing happened to me yesterday, with a Comcast Care Chat sending the http://iguard-po-1pp.slb.comcast.com link and requesting SSN and DOB. I just wanted to check if there was any further information or feedback on this.
I spoke with one Xfinity rep that said it may be fraudulent, and another that said it was legit. Hoping the latter is correct. Any updates on this is much appreciated!

Did you ever get a good answer on this? I had the same thing today, then I was sent a second link that wanted a credit card number. Which they already have, since they charge it way too much money every month. I disconnected immediately.
