Approved Xfinity modems and routers.

Hello,

Is there a list of xfinity approved modems and routers that are compatible? I would like to upgrade my modem and wifi router.

Thank you.

Hi there, @user_59f4e6! Thanks so much for visiting and commenting here on the Xfinity Forums. Yes, be sure to use the link provided by awesome contributor @NoNoBadPuppy. Simply enter in your address and speed tier and you'll be able to view a list of compatible equipment.

Agreed. Still isn't working. I presume it's because Xfinity doesn't want us shopping around for replacements.

@lindaskully Hmm, you may want to try clearing cookies and cache and then try the link again. Otherwise, if there is a specific modem you are thinking of purchasing we have no problem checking it for you as well.

Since reading this post 2 weeks ago I also can not view approved Xfinity modems and routers which I now check daily now (because I have only internet)  so I have to believe it has been down for months as written above and unfortunately I also believe this is intentional so we can not shop around. How do you shop around, you look at a list, of modems, routers, gateways, that are compatible with your requirements. I would have no idea what I would be thinking of purchasing without viewing a list. My question is this list ever going to be able to be viewed again or is this no longer an option ?

I think an Xfinity employee responded to a different thread with his response to my question. Rather then have 2 topics in one thread I will respond here. NO this link  https://comca.st/3RQUzBx as the link shown above https://www.xfinity.com/support/devices/#auth does NOT list anything it just acts like it is searching "grey ball with (3) little balls" alternately searching I assume with no results. I even went through using the Xfinity web site. Support, View internet support, tabbing down to using your own equipment, click on approved equipment for Xfinity internet and Xfinity voice, click on my device info and again with no results. Is this list gone forever?

This seems rather unique and wondering if any other customers are having this issue. I used a different browser (Edge) and it just does the same searches, and searches with NO results. The unique thing is while it was searching lets say 5 minutes I clicked on the sign out of my account tab and THEN to my amazement up pops the questions asking for my address and speed required a speed, I entered that info and immediately Modems, Routers and Gateways show up on the list. So the list isn't gone but I have to be signed out of my account (seems bizarre but it works) to view the list (I tried on both Chrome and Edge browsers). I hope this helps anyone having the same issue.

Thanks NoNoBadPuppy, but clicking on the link I get only the continual searching with no results when I am logged into my account (using Chrome). So. I fired up Edge and entered the link above without signing into my account and yes the questions of address and speed needed do come up and I filled them in, again immediately the modems pop up, so while the list was up I signed into my account and bingo all the site did was search without results. At least I can find the list. But thanks
