Apple watch

Hello,

Need to remove the service for the apple watch.  Haven't taken it out of the box and used it at all.

In Dec 2025 in went into the XFINITY store in Aurora, Co to see if I could get my bill lowered.  Than agent that helped me was very nice and was able to reduce my monthly payment.  After he finished he said that because I was XFINITY Diamond member he had a free watch for me.  Remembering that XFINITY sometimes reward members with free gifts.  I told him that I didn’t need or want a watch because I had my IPHONE .  Well he finally convinced me to try it.  He said all I had to do was sight up for an additional line for $10 a month and if the watch didn’t work out for me I could cancel the line after 6 months.
well yesterday I called to cancel the line and the agent on the phone told me I would have to pay off the watch or keep the line for an additional 30 months.   I feel XFINITY took advantage of me. It appears the watch was not free”as advertised nor could it drop the line in 6 month.  I have been a customer of XFINITY for 30 years and this is the 1st an agent took advantage of me because of my age and lack of technical knowledge . I want the watch line cancelled and the watch balance reduced to zero.   I am willing to return the watch. As you can see it was never used other than a time peace.

I do hate to hear about your experience, unfortunately the watch would need to be paid off to in order to cancel your account. Have you tried going to the store you purchased the device to discuss the issue with a manager? @user_2e35c5

I tried to get this misrepresentation corrected through this forum as suggested by XFINIT. However. I will follow the advise offered by the BBB. Concerning  XFINITY’s deceptive sales tactics and agents offering Apple Watches as "free" gifts or loyalty rewards,  and allowing customers to terminate the line in 6 months.

user_2e35c5 I am very sorry you feel that way. As my colleague mentioned a great suggestion. I would suggest to visut the store where the watch was purchased.
