Another bad movie title
Dear Xfinity customer service:
Your menus describe the movie titled "From the Earth to the Moon" as
one of my favorites, starring Joseph Cotten and made in 1958. The
correct cast is given, the description of the movie is correct for the
1958 movie, and the movie's menu icon is also correct for the 1958
movie.
But the only "From the Earth to the Moon" movie that you ever deliver was
produced by Ron Howard, who was playing "Opie" in "Andy Griffeth" back
in 1958.
Since I PAID for the 1958 movie that is described and illustrated, I
would like to get it, or at least get a refund.
Sincerly,

Dear XFinityKassie,
Thanks for your prompt reply!
I guess "Xfinity Support" doesn't get many messages, with the way of contacting it that you describe.
I wouldn't have whined in the forum, if I had found a more direct way of reporting the problem with "From the Earth
to the Moon." Several other customers seem to have reported similar problems in the forum; perhaps they
too posted to the forum out of frustration or confusion. In these horrid latter days, many companies effectively obfuscate
customer support.
The movie wasn't very expensive, so I don't intend to put you to any more trouble to get a refund.
However, it would be nice to see the problem fixed. For example, it would be good not to get
a bogus hit (the 1958 movie) from searching for "From the Earth to the Moon."
With that, others might be less likely to buy it "by accident."
It seems as though Xfinity has a systemic problem with different movies that have the same title.
