Amnesty Program

I was told by a friend to go online about the amnesty program, applied for the internet essentials, was approved, and when I called and asked the the amnesty program be applied to my former account was told someone would call me back. I spent almost 2 hours getting bounced between internet essentials customer service and billing, each said the other had to handle the amnesty program. I would like to get this completed ASAP as this has a major impact on my credit at this time and need this removed. The Billing and Customer service reps all verified I qualify for the program to be added to the old account. Who can I actually talk to, to get this completed? Thank you!
