Am I not allowed to sign up for another year of my same speed of 1000 mb/s?

I am coming to the end of a 24 month promotion at 1000 mb/s speed, next month. My bill is going up by $23 a month unless I sign up for another promotion. When I go to the Build your Plan or Deals pages on the website, I only get options of downgrading to 800 mb/s for $5 less than I was paying, or upgrading for $10 more than I was paying. Is this intentional or is there something wrong with the website? I want to stay at 1000 mb/s and not move speeds. The maze of Xfinity's automated phone call tree has been an infuriating and unhelpful nightmare. The website is incredibly laggy and asks me to sign in multiple times in a loop sometimes.

Just wanted to update that I finally managed to get someone on the phone, and it was confirmed that I could not sign up for the same speed at a promotional rate. I had to either upgrade or downgrade my speed for the next 12 months, with 24 month promos no longer being available for me.

Hey, @user_463fb1! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear that the bill is on the rise and that the website wasn't able to present you with a better deal for your gigabit service. We can certainly assist you with this! It looks like you have some other questions about your speeds as well which we can get to the bottom of as well! Can you please click the Direct Message icon at the top right of the page, click on the pen and pad icon and enter Xfinity Support in the "To" section of the chat and provide us with your first/last name and full address so we may further assist you?
