AI Chatbot is beyond useless
I’m trying to report and get info on an outage and I cannot believe how ridiculously awful the ai chat bot is. I simply cannot believe a multi billion dollar company can release a product like that and think it’s acceptable. We’re all used to bad ai, every company uses it, but this is beyond that, it’s almost intentionally obtuse and trolling you. Can anyone help?

For the fastest access to service interruption information and updates, here are a few options that may help:
Text "OUT" to 266278 to check for known outages and receive updates by text message.
Visit the Xfinity Status Center to view Interruption information specific to your area.
Use the Xfinity App, which can often provide the most accurate information about service interruptions, network status, and available troubleshooting options for your account.
If you've already tried these methods and still aren't able to get the information you need, please let us know a little more about what's happening (such as whether all services are down and any error messages you're seeing). We'll do our best to point you in the right direction. I know it can be incredibly frustrating when you're looking for a simple answer and feel like you're being sent in circles.
