Agent Complaint
Good afternoon,
I called in at 2:51pm EST to receive assistance with internet service. The agent who initially answered the call was more than polite and understanding. My issue lies with Neil from the repair/technical department. After explaining my issues, Neil proceeds with his pitch to “upgrade” my plan. After saying no since my husband was not around to make the decision with me, he continued to push. My answer remained the same. Finally, Neil asked “well where is your husband now”. Frankly, that is beyond disrespectful to ask as that is none of his business and it is disrespectful to assume I would go fetch my husband for something as trivial as an account upgrade that can be done at any time. Furthermore, Neil’s numbers did not make sense, so I would not trust him to make any changes to my account. Learning how to accept the answer “no” is a skill Neil has not learned. I don’t care if it is a “time sensitive” deal or not. His words were disrespectful especially when pushing an upgrade for service I am experiencing substantial issues with.
