After outage Netgear cm2000 bricked

I have a nighthawk cm2000 and a cm1200 both cannot lock onto the downstream channel. There was an outage in my area and after the outage was fixed my modem could no longer connect. I thought maybe my modem fried so I tried the cm1200 but the reps also couldn't get it to connect. Always stuck on downstream light flashing. Spoke with 3 reps. One was very pushy to get a service tech out and another was, instead of trying to solve the problem, was trying to get me to sign up for Xfinity mobile, and the third after not being able to fix the problem left the chat for someone else to respond and that person also disappeared.

After about 24-28 hours since the outage my modem finally connected. No technician no support from Xfinity. Over DM they weren't able to fix the issue which leads me to believe it was definitely the outage that was still in effect. I was not able to connect the Xfinity hotspots around my area either until my Internet started working.
