Address listed as business

Moved to an apartment and it says it's listed as a business address. I was told by an Xfinity chat person to talk to my landlord about signing up for an account under them. He says they don't have one and it's supposed to be residential so I'm getting sent in circles now. I'm lost

Hey there, @user_4e332d. I am sorry to read you're getting nowhere when attempting to start services at your new apartment. Our team can definitely assist with that and know of the process to get your address updated from business to residential. We'll just need to collect some of your information and create a ticket for a backend team to assist with updating that address. To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
