Adding Unlimited Data

Hello, I hope you are well.  I have been trying to upgrade my Xfinity internet plan to unlimited data for the advertised additional $30.00 monthly. Still, every time I do, I am redirected to a page that says "Temporarily Unavailable," without any explanation.  I would like to know if I can, or cannot upgrade to unlimited data, and if not, I would like to know why. I plan on using my modem. Please and thank you.

I do apologize if you weren't able to add the unlimited data option via our self-service options I'll be happy to assist you with adding the unlimited data so you don't have to worry about any data over fees. To get started please send me a direct message To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message" icon in the upper right - it looks like a chat bubble
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon just to the right of Conversations
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line - do not use the Employee's name!
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name, the account holder name (if different), and the service address
