Adding Unlimited Data

I've seen several posts on this website regarding people not being able to add unlimited data to their internet plans as the page consistently says it's temporarily unavailable. In each of these post an employee says something to the effect of it's shouldn't be that way, we're escalating it to the appropriate team to get it fixed. This issue still isn't fixed. I've been trying since yesterday to add the unlimited data option to my plan and it still says temporarily unavailable. How is it so hard to get this fixed?

So I guess I'll wait for an employee to message me here so I can get it added which is a ridiculous work around just to add this feature. Let me be clear....I want to add the unlimited data to my internet plan but I am unable to do so on the Xfinity website. How can I get this done?

Some regions have privacy restrictions in place for certain products that we offer, so when making changes to your account that can potentially affect these products, our website will automatically refer you to contact a live agent for assistance. Internet data is not one of the products that generates a privacy concern in any area, but I'm guessing that one of your other services is causing this trigger to appear. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. I will make sure we get this taken care of for you right away. Talk to you soon!

To send a direct message you may need to:

 

Click "Sign In"

Click the "direct message" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
