Add to service vs move service

I am moving to a location that already has active Xfinity internet and cable.  I also am currently a customer.  I would like to know if the service at the new address can handle my extra devices or if it would be better for me to just move my service there, resulting in two accounts at the same address.  I need to make sure the additional load of my devices won’t slow down the service, particularly internet.

user_wy9jqx Good morning! We appreciate you reaching out to our Xfinity Community Forums Team regarding your move details. Having reliable and stable internet service is important these days. I'd be happy to check your new address, and provide with some options with transferring services. To begin, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, the current service address, and the new service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
