active mobile line for discount with internet service

i found an internet plan that i am interested in, it mentioned below included discount
- Unlock $30/mo. off your Internet bill for 24 months with an active Xfinity Mobile line
I am currently have mobile service with xfinity already, do I entitle to this discount based on the "an active Xfinity Mobile line"?
However, at order review, it shows
"You will receive a $30 monthly multi-product discount for 24 months if you activate a new Xfinity Mobile line within 90 days of your order".
Xfinity Mobile Discount Eligibility   Included
Want to know for sure if my existing active mobile line already making me eligible to the $30 discount / month offer included in the plan or not.

Hello there, @user_179931! Thank you for bringing this to our attention through our Forums, and thank you for your patience, while awaiting our response. I understand you recently set up a new mobile line with us, which was supposed to also provide you with a discount for your residential service. Rest assured; our Digital Care Team is here to help, and I will be more than happy to look further into this for you.

Can you please send us a private messaged, including your full name, and you full address? You can do so, by clicking on the chat icon, in the top right hand corner of your screen. Once you click on that icon, you should be able to search "Xfinity Support", which should then give you the ability to send us that direct message. Thank you in advance, and I look forward to speaking with you!

Hey there, @user_797e28. This discount will only apply if you add a new line to your mobile account, within 90 days of the order. It must be a new line and if you already had an existing line, that will not qualify. I hope this cleat things up.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Will I still get the $30/mo discount for internet if I cancel the phone line early?

Hi, @user_1a1987. The $30.00 discount would no longer apply if you decide cancel Xfinity Mobile during the term of the agreement. I hope that answers your question.

@user_b6f330, it can take up to 90 days for the discount to automatically be applied after having ported the mobile numbers.

I also signed up for the same internet plan with the $30 discount for 24 months if you add a new xfinity mobile line. At the time, I didn't want to add a line but I said I would consider it and I confirmed that I would get an additional $30 off of the $60 internet plan if I added a line and the customer service rep assured me that I would if I added a line within 90 days. I decided to add a line for my child so I called xfinity mobile customer service and explained my inquiry and she got an internet customer service representative on the line with us and she told me I was receiving a $30 discount already so if I add a line it would not change my bill. I explained that I was sure I was not getting a $30 discount because I had not fulfilled my end of the deal by adding a line yet. She said oh thats ok you dont have to add a line you sre eligible for $30 discount and you sre getting it already. So then i asked if i dont add a line within 90 days will that discount go away snd she said no. I think she was seeing the $20 discount for promotional price as well as the $10 discount for automatic payment. Technically yes I'm receiving $30 in discounts but I'm not getting the $30 off for adding a line because I have not added a line. She said if I add a line it will not change my internet bill. I feel like I was suckered into something now and xfinity is not holding up their end of the deal. I know phone calls are recorded and I know the initial conversation I had on Nov 12, 2021 will reveal that I'm supposed to get a $30 discount if I add a line. I would like someone to look into this for me. I would add a line for my child if I get a $30 discount on my internet for 24 months. By the time I get a response I'm sure the 90 day period will have passed.

Hello, @user_ea3e48. We can look at the discounts on your residential account (internet, TV, home phone, and home security) and see if there are any Xfinity Mobile discounts on there but we will also need to get Xfinity Mobile involved if you want to take advantage of those promotions. I am aware of the different discounts for your promotion, Automatic Payment and Paperless Billing, and then the XM discounts. Let's start on our end so we can get some answers for you.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
