To send a "Direct Message" message:

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Hello, and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums. I would be happy to look at your account set up with you. Your internet service requires a modem/router that would be a hardwire connection. From there, you would have access to Wi-Fi. Is that the information you are looking for?
