Activate WiFi in new home

I have recently moved to colchester and need to find or install a coax cord for my Xfinity modem. How would I find the cord if I even have one and if I don’t how do I schedule an appointment for them to come install one??

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related........... Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good morning, and welcome to your new home! I'd be happy to help get your Xfinity service set up. If you're unable to locate a coax outlet or cable for your modem, we can arrange for a technician to visit and install one if needed. Please send us a direct message with your full name and service address, and we'll be glad to review your options and assist with scheduling an appointment. 😊

To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
You must use the primary Xfinity ID
