Activate my router without the App
I am unable to use the xfinity app as my phone is unable to update without wifi and it is too out of date to run the app. My router is already plugged in and I got the text saying my wifi is ready to use, but I need the app to get the name and password. Is there any way I could provide my information to get the login without using the app.

@user_6w5vw9 Sounds like it still needs to be activated. We can manually send that signal. Then you can sign in to the default network name and password found on the modem. That should trigger a pop-up to customize that network and password.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
