account ownership change

Hi :)

I filled out the account ownership transfer forms about 2 weeks ago and my ticket says "closed" but I'm still listed as the account manager. Wondering how to resolve this? I've already moved out and just need to transfer the account to my old roommate. My ticket number was [Edited: "Personal Information"].

Hello, @user_8ncw2q thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I definitely understand wanting to check on the account ownership change with the ticket now showing closed. I did want to help get the proper expectations set up that when the transfer of ownership of the account happens, it is just the responsible party updated. Xfinity IDs such as Primary, Manager, User are not updated as that is something done on the customer end. 

To confirm:

- Are you still seeing your name listed as the responsible party on a bill when logged in to the account?


If it's just the Xfinity ID information that needs to be updated, you and the new account owner would need to update their profile to the primary and then you can get removed if needed: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts
