Account not canceled

I called in on September 4,2026 to cancel my WiFi to go into effect on September 30, 2026. The agent even offered to waive my cancellation fee for being a long time customer. I received a cancellation email confirmation on September 4. It is now October 4, 2026 and my services still appear active on the app and I’ve received a bill for the next cycle. I ask that this be resolved immediately.

Hello @user_gp77d6, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry that your service still appears active and that you received another bill after requesting a disconnection for September 30. I understand how concerning this is, especially since you received a confirmation email. When a disconnection order is submitted, it can take up to 10 days to fully finalize, and the services may continue to appear active during that time. Depending on when your bill generates, you may also receive a bill while the order is still processing. Once finalized, the account and bill will update to reflect your requested disconnection date. We’d be happy to review the account and make sure the disconnection request was processed correctly. For your privacy and the security of your account, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

How to send us a direct message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
