Account management

I recently updated my account to super fast 800. But my Xfinity app says my account is still at Fast 400. It shows I’m getting speeds of just over 400 which is great if that was still my plan. But it specifies I’m getting 467 Mbps out of 400. How can I get it to grab my new 800 Mbps plan?

Thanks. It turns out that my upgrade order was dated for a few days AFTER I actually received my equipment. A rep was able to send me a new order that would take effect immediately. Then a restart of the modem picked up the new account limits. I’m good now.

Let's take a look at your account together.

To send a direct message [private message]:

  •    Click "Sign In" if necessary
  •    Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •    Press Enter to send it
