Accesing my emails

For a big while now, I’ve been receiving the same message: 100% capacity and no way of receiving more emails until I delete most of them. I have deleted ALL my emails, both on the cell and xfinity website. Now nothing is coming thru. No emails whatsoever. I keep waiting for the famous transfer to Yahoo Mail. In the meantime, I am left with no means of communicating with anyone frim Comcast/Xfinity. PLEASE HELP!

jny52 Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. We provide 10 Gigs of storage for your Email usage. If you have hundreds or thousands of emails with attachments, it is quite possible to reach this threshold. We know you said you deleted all your emails, but if you were using IMAP email configuration, these emails could still be present on another device. If you are using IMAP, check whether these emails are still in your trash folder. You'll need to delete them from that folder as well.

@XfinityBenjaminM thank you for your reply. I deleted everything: mail, trash, junk. There’s nothing. Being that the case, I won’t see the invite to move all emails to Yahoo, ‘cuz I’m not receiving anything. Is there a way I can move all contacts to Yahoo Mail without waiting for invite? I have been left with no way to communicate thru Comcast.net.

@jny52 The only way to migrate it is when the invite is sent out by Yahoo. They're rolling it out gradually through 2026, and you don't have to use the email to start the process. When it's ready for you to move over, you can also start the migration process by signing in to your email account directly. It will notify you when it's ready there as well. Check out all the details here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-safety.
