60Mbps upload with CM3000 while on 2000Mbps/250Mbps Plan

Hello,

I made the internet plan change and hardware upgrade a couple of months back, and was living with the slower-than-advertised upload speeds. Now, I'm looking at a real need to achieve the advertised upload speeds. To clarify, my download speeds are fine, and I'm connected via ethernet.

Hello xiletommy! Thank you for reaching out to us for help with the slow upload speeds that you are receiving. I'm sorry that you are not receiving the higher upload speeds as expected since making the account and equipment change. I know the CM3000 is compatible with our enhanced network and upload speeds, so it's strange that you are not seeing them especially with a hardwired connection. Are you using a router in addition to the modem? If so, are you able to connect directly to the CM3000, reset the modem and computer and check the speed again please?

Thanks for responding so quickly, Paula. I've done as asked, and I'm still seeing the same results when running a speed test. Interestingly, I see a very brief split-second at the beginning of the test where the upload jumps and comes back down to plateau at 60-70 Mbps

xiletommy I appreacite you taking the added step to check the connections and speed directly to the modem. Again I'm sorry that it hasn't been working all this time. Let's dig into it more and figure out what is keeping your uploaded speeds below what we should have. I know that upload has become more important in the recent years, so I would love to help out and get this corrected for us.
