50% off cable offer

Getting phone calls from [Edited: "Invalid Phone Number"] in Sacramento,California. Left a message today saying last day to get 50% of my cable bill and claim to be from Xfinity. Third time they called this week. Is this a real offer or Spam?

Hello user_x9my8o, we don't make proactive calls like the one you're describing, so this does sound like a spam call. Are you receiving these calls on a Xfinity landline phone number or Xfinity Mobile number?

Calls on wife’s cell. We have Xfinity cell service. They called three separate days but left a voicemail today saying the exact message BruceW got.

Thank you, we would definitely recommend reaching out to our Customer Security Assurance Team to report this and also check out their Alerts page where this is also updated and you can see phone numbers that have been reported to be used when performing this scam.

Received phone call, "this is Comcast Xfinity your account is scheduled to lose its 50% discount on monthly bill by the end of today. If you do not respond, your bill will reflect standard pricing and this offer cannot be reactivated. Call ....
