5 years of frustration/power save mode has no remedy
I came online for the umpteenth thousand time to figure out how to get my cable to stop cutting itself off after 4 hours.
But after reading everything from other customers in this community, I realize that the only answer is just to cancel my service and keep my hard earned money.
I'm tired!!
Comcast / Xfinity or whatever charges entirely too much money for all of the interruptions to be happening. I have to unplug and plug my box all day everyday, I call Xfinity almost everyday about this &everybody acts like they don't know what's going on even though I just called the day before.
And the answer is always to unplug the box. Rather than just give me a new box that actually works.
I'm tired of the unplugging my box.
And to top all of that off I have to come home to the TV being off or out of the shower to this evening being off or while I'm cleaning the TV just shut off because of the stupid power mode. You all claim you're "trying to save us money" with this power save [Edited: "Language"] that cannot be changed, all while charging [Edited: "Language"] amounts of money.
[Edited: "Inflammatory"]
And then I would do a little jig because I'll be free after 5 years of you all swallowing up most of my paycheck for absolute subpar service. service

Welcome to our community forum, @user_d24cd1! Thank you for bringing your concerns to my attention so I can work with you to make things right. Have you used these steps to disable power saving mode? I'd also like to check your account to see what's going on with your signals because you shouldn't have to unplug your equipment every day. I know that would drive me nuts!
Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your name and address and I'll be happy to help :).
