5 Year Guarantee Price for Gig Speed Internet
My daughter is an existing Xfinity customer. Her internet bill went through the roof recently so I help her and we got her Gig Speed internet for $60/month on the 5-year price guarantee plan. I am a longtime Xfinity customer and am needing to renew my internet before next month. When I checked my account it wants to charge me $85/month for the 5-year guarantee price for Gig Speed internet. What do I need to do to get the $60/month price? I'd like to stay with Xfinity if possible. Please advise.

The concern is not "E-mail" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there @tjb12. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your interest in our pricing options. To be transparent, new customer pricing is not available for customers with existing accounts. This includes canceling an active account and opening a new one, as that would be a violation of our policy.
Customers generally must wait 90 days after closing an account to be considered a new customer for Xfinity Residential services (internet, TV, voice) and qualify for introductory promotions. That said, we'd be happy to review your current account and explore any available options or offers it may qualify for and you are interested in having us review your account with you, please send us a DM with your full name and address to Xfinity Support.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click "Direct Message"
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing, a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it. See the link below for an example
